The White Stripes brengen binnenkort een nieuw live album uit getiteld ‘Nine Miles From The White City’. Het album zal worden gereleased via Jack White’s Third Man Records Vault subscription service. ‘Nine Miles From The White City’ zal verkrijgbaar zijn als dubbel vinyl album met daarop 26 songs. Het album is opgenomen in 2003 te Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom. Onder de 26 nummers zijn ‘Hotel Yorba’, ‘Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground’ en covers van Bob Dylan en Captain Beefheart.
‘Nine Miles From The White City’ is onderdeel van het 10-jarig jubileum van hun album ‘Elephant’ (2003). Bij de dubbel LP zit een 7″ vinyl single met demo’s van de nummers ‘I Want To Be the Boy to Warm Your Mother’s Heart’ en ‘Little Acorns’. Ook zitten er een aantal foto’s bij gemaakt tijdens het concert in Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom.
