Superster Robbie Williams heeft een nieuw album aangekondigd. De Britse popster zal zijn album releasen op 4 november. De zanger brengt zijn nieuwe album ‘Heavy Entertainment Show’ uit via Columbia Records. ‘Heavy Entertainment Show’ is het elfde studio-album van de populaire Brit en het eerste album wat hij uitbrengt in samenwerking met Sony Music Entertainment.
Op ‘Heavy Entertainment Show’ werkt Robbie weer samen met schrijfpartner Guy Chambers waarmee hij samenschreef op de succesvolle albums ‘Escapology’ uit 2002 en ’Swing Both Ways’ uit 2013. Naast Chambers werkt Robbie ook samen met Brandon Flowers, John Grant, Rufus Wainwright, Ed Sheeran en Stuart Price.
Robbie Williams over zijn nieuwe album: “I was musing over the phrase ‘light entertainment’ – all the huge TV shows from when I was a kid, 30 million people watching them, this huge shared experience of these moments called light entertainment. Sometimes it can be leveled at people in a bad way, but for me that’s heavy entertainment. That’s what I’m hoping to do with this album – to have a shared experience with millions of people though the medium of light entertainment…but on steroids.”
