Naar aanleiding van hun 25-jarig bestaan brengt K’s Choice op 24 maart een ultieme Best Of uit genaamd ’25′. Bekende nummers zoals ‘God In My Bed’, ‘Everything For Free’, ‘Dad’, ‘Believe’ en natuurlijk ‘Not An Addict’ mogen op deze prachtige compilatie niet ontbreken.
Ter gelegenheid van ’25’ heeft de Belgische band onder leiding van Sarah en Gert Bettens een gloednieuwe versie van hun wereldhit ‘Not An Addict’ opgenomen, samen met niemand minder dan Skin (Skunk Anansie). Over deze nieuwe versie zegt Skin het volgende: “I think we did something incredibly brave, by re-recording an absolute world classic in the first place, and secondly, by approaching it from a different angle. The number one rule when re-recording such a classic, is that it has to be really, fucking good… and I think we’ve done that.”
Sarah Bettens voegt toe: “Re-recording ‘Not An Addict’ was risky, but now that it’s done, I can say with confidence that it’s an absolutely beautiful version. There’s an emotion to this song now that maybe wasn’t there before. The song has changed by the way we approached it and certainly with Skin’s angelic vocals.”
