Dead Country’s drummer Jarred Alexander is de nieuwe drummer van My Chemical Romance. De band was genoodzaakt tot deze wisseling nadat ze hun vorige drummer Michael Pedicone vanwege diefstal op staande voet hadden ontslagen. Alexander heeft zich in Salt Lake City bij de band gevoegd. Het is nog niet bekend of hij alleen zal meespelen tijdens hun Honda Civic Tour met wie ze samen met Blink-182 het podium delen of dat hij de vaste vervanger van Pedicone zal worden.
Op de officiële website van de band verklaard gitarist Frank Iero: “Some shit happened and before the blogsphere gets all crazy with false statements and ridiculous opinions we want the true story to come from us. But please listen close because this is de only time we are ever going to talk about this. The relationship between My Chemical Romance and Michael Pedicone is over. He was caught red handed stealing from the band and confessed to the police after our show in Auburn, Washington”.
Afgelopen weekend was de band nog de headliner bij het Reading And Leeds Festival waar ze samen optraden met Queen’s Brian May.
