Dit jaar bestaat Black Eyed Peas 20 jaar en dat willen Will.i.am, Fergie, Apl.de.ap en Taboo vieren met het uitbrengen van nieuwe muziek. De ‘PeaBodies’, zoals de fans worden genoemd, zullen op deze manier bedankt worden voor hun jarenlange support. Will.i.am vertelt: “Ok, I can’t give too many details, but there’s a bunch of PeaBodies out there that we’ve been tweeting back and forth for the past couple of days over the excitement of twenth years of Black Eyed Peas.”
Of de nieuwe muziek de vertrouwde Peas sound zal hebben is niet duidelijk. “We’re going to have new music. We’ll have a bunch of new experience.” Ook is niet duidelijk hoeveel nieuwe muziek uitgebracht zal worden. “I don’t want to call them albums, but we’ll have some experiences and a bunch of stuff to get the PeaBodies and the folk that supported us and got is to this point.” Kortom, Will.i.am “can’t give too many details” en zo weten we dus nog niet echt wat we kunnen verwachten van de band dit jaar.
Het laatste album van de Black Eyed Peas werd begin 2010 uitgebracht. Als dit jaar een nieuw album verschijnt zal dit het zevende studio album zijn.
