Na de release van ‘Live From The Royal Albert Hall… Y’All’, op Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group, keert Black Stone Cherry volgende maand terug naar Europa voor een 18-date tour. Ze beginnen op 12 september in Duitsland en bezoeken Nederland, Noorwegen, Zweden, Denemarken, Oostenrijk, Hongarije, Italië, Zwitserland, Spanje en Frankrijk. Support komt van opkomende Southern rockers, The Georgia Thunderbolts.
Black Stone Cherry kijken uit naar de Europese tour; “We are beyond excited to finally be making a return to touring in Europe! We are absolutely thrilled to be bringin’ our great friends The Georgia Thunderbolts with us! A guaranteed night of ass kicking rock and roll!”
De opkomende jonge Southern rockers, The Georgia Thunderbolts, zullen voor het eerst door Europa touren. De band heeft reeds ervaring opgedaan door te touren met bands als The Kentucky Headhunters, Blackberry Smoke, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Molly Hatchet, The Cadillac Three en Deep Purple. Ze brachten hun debuutalbum ‘Can We Get A Witness’ uit in 2021 op Mascot Records met de nummers ‘Looking For And Old Friend’, ‘Lend A Hand’, en ‘So You Wanna Change the World.’
Over de aankomende tour zegt Thunderbolts gitarist Riley Couzzourt, “We would like to send out a huge thank you to our friends and brothers Black Stone Cherry for this wonderful opportunity to tour mainland Europe. Many of you have been supporting the Bolts from afar, and we can’t wait to play for y’all and make new friends. Let’s rock Europe!” Whilst frontman TJ Lyle also said, “The mainland Europe tour with Black Stone Cherry is going to be big fun! BSC took us under their wing many moons ago, and we have become not just friends but family. To get to do our first EU tour with them is something we have only dreamed of until now, and we are super grateful. It’s gonna be great.
