De Amerikaanse band Wallows is terug. Na het wereldwijde succes rondom ‘Nothing Happens’ (2019) en break-through single ‘Are You Bored Yet?’ deelden ze afgelopen week hun langverwachte album ‘Tell Me That It’s Over’.
De singles ‘I Don’t Want To Talk’, ‘At The End Of The Day’ en ‘Especially You’ werden al eerder door de band gedeeld, en zullen tevens op het album te horen zijn. Over de plaat zegt frontman Dylan Minette: “For a long time we were so concerned with trying to create in a more conventional way. But once we had that focus, everything fell into place. We stopped overthinking everything and decided to just share the 10 best songs that represent who we are at this moment, because that’s all that really matters.”
Ter ere van ‘Tell Me That It’s Over’ zal de band vanaf april touren door Amerika, Europa, Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland. Ook zullen ze een bezoek brengen aan Nederland; op 21 januari 2023 speelt de band in TivoliVredenburg.
