Buena Vista Social Club heeft de ’25th Anniversary Edition’ van hun succesalbum ‘Buena Vista Social Club’ aangekondigd. Om het 25-jarig bestaan van dit iconische album te vieren bevat de jubileumversie naast de remaster door Bernie Grundman ook nooit eerder verschenen tracks van de originele sessie tapes uit 1996 – ‘Vicenta’ is daar een van. “The Buena Vista boys fly high and never lose a feather. If you miss the boat this time, you’ll have the blues forever.”, aldus producer en gitarist Ry Cooder.
De ’25th Anniversary Edition’, bestaande uit 2LP + 2CD Deluxe Book Pack, 2CD Casebook, 2LP Gatefold Vinyl, bevat een boek met niet eerder verschenen foto’s, songteksten en notities, art prints, uitgebreide biografieën en de geschiedenis van de legendarische Havana Club (exclusief beschikbaar in het Deluxe Book Pack formaat).
