Op woensdag 25 november 2020 komt de Britse rockband Status Quo naar Amsterdam voor een show in AFAS Live. De show is onderdeel van de Backbone Tour 2020. Naast hun vele klassiekers zal de band ook werk spelen van hun nieuwste album Backbone. De kaartverkoop voor de show in Amsterdam start aanstaande vrijdag 20 september om 12 uur via Ticketmaster.
De Britse rockers van Status Quo komen terug naar het vaste land van Europa met hun Backbone Tour 2020. De tour staat in het teken van het nieuw verschenen album ‘Backbone’. De show bevat naast nieuw materiaal uiteraard ook al de klassiekers. Fans kunnen dus een onvervalste Quo Show verwachten.
Francis Rossi over de tournee: “The ‘Backbone’ album got such a great reception, people really understand what we are trying to do and the fans have really supported it. We can’t wait to get out there in 2020 on a proper Status Quo tour and play all the classics, plus some of these new songs for the first time.”
‘Backbone’ kwam in de UK binnen op nummer zes in de hitlijsten. Dat is de hoogste notering voor de band sinds 1982. Hiermee laat de band zien nog steeds één van de grootste Britse rockbands aller tijden te zijn.
