Een rauwe mix van rock, soul en blues onder de bezielende leiding van frontman Ty Taylor. De live reputatie van deze band is zeer indrukwekkend met al meer dan 3000 shows in 30 landen op zak en een energie die stil staan tijdens optredens onmogelijk maakt. De band tourde met grootheden als The Who, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz en Bon Jovi en waren ook te gast in het befaamde BBC programma ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ en in Amerika o.a. bij Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! en The Tonight Show.
Na zo veel live gespeeld te hebben was het voor de band tijd voor een nieuw hoofdstuk, een studio album met de passende titel: Chapter II. Voor dit album werd samengewerkt met producer Jeeve (Bruno Mars, Carlos Santana).
“We’ve gotten the opportunity to play literally the biggest shows in the world,” aldus zanger Ty. “However, we weren’t catching the same feeling on record as we did live. That sent us back to the factory, you could say. We started to listen to a lot of popular music—everything from Amy Winehouse and Adele to Bruno Mars and Lauryn Hill. We wanted to take something from the past and put it in contemporary framing. That was the impetus. We decided to play what felt like pop songs would be with rhythm & blues and rock ‘n’ roll tension. There’s a different life to the music. That was the entire mission behind this new phase.”
Vintage Trouble komt op 13 juni naar het Patronaat in Haarlem voor een concert waar nog lang over zal worden nagesproken.
