Het nieuwe album van Kings Of Leon, ‘Mechanical Bull’, komt a.s. vrijdag uit maar is inmiddels al gratis te beluisteren via iTunes. Na een periode van drie jaar touren en werken aan andere projecten, brengt Kings Of Leon op 20 september 2013 hun zesde studioalbum uit, getiteld ‘Mechanical Bull’. Het nieuwe album is opgenomen in de eigen studio van de band in Nashville en is geproduceerd door Angelo Petraglia, die als songwriter en producer al vanaf het eerstealbum betrokken is bij Kings Of Leon. “I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I’m amazed how youthful it sounds. It’s like a mix of ‘Youth & Young Manhood’ and ‘Because Of The Times’. The vibe could be compared to the first couple of albums but it’s much more musically complicated,” aldus bassist Jared Followill over ‘Mechanical Bull’.
Afgelopen zondag werd het nieuwe album gepresenteerd aan een selecte groep Nederlandse fans op de Album Launch BBQ.
