Deze week kondigde Elton John het album ‘Revamp’ aan, dat op 6 april uitkomt bij Universal. Voor ‘Revamp’ werd een keur aan grote artiesten uit de eigentijdse muziekwereld bijeen gebracht, die hun eigen interpretatie geven aan de meest geliefde songs van Elton John en co-auteur Bernie Taupin. Het album bevat een indrukwekkende verzameling van uiteenlopende muziekstijlen, die Eltons ongeëvenaarde invloed op de populaire muziek in alle genres illustreren, van hip-hop/soul (Q-Tip, Mary J Blige) en rock (The Killers, Queens of the Stone Age) tot pop (Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, P!nk & Logic).
