Sir Elton John brengt in juni de DVD ‘The Million Dollar Piano’ uit. De opnames zijn gemaakt tijdens Elton’s verblijf in het Colosseum in Caesars Palace te Las Vegas. De show loopt al vanaf september 2011, Elton gaf recentelijk 16 optredens in het Caesars Palace. Op de DVD staan hits als ‘I’m Still Standing’, ‘Rocket Man’, ‘Philadelphia Freedom’, ‘Your Song’, ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’, ‘Circle Of Life’, ‘Blue Eyes’, ‘Bennie and the Jets’, ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’, ‘Crocodile Rock’, ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues’ en nog veel meer.
Naast de DVD komt ook de Blu-ray versie van ‘The Million Dollar Piano’ uit, net als de DVD bevat deze bovenstaande hits en als bonus ‘The Making Of The Million Dollar Piano’; het verhaal achter de concertreeks. Buiten al dit moois staan er vier extra tracks op de DVD en Blu-ray die zijn opgenomen tijdens een concert dat Elton gaf in 2012 in Kiev, ‘Candle In The Wind’, ‘Sacrifice’, ‘Sad Songs (Say So Much)’ en ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’. ‘The Million Dollar Piano’ ligt vanaf 30 juni in de winkels.
